Are you bored of your usual weekend routine are searching for ways to involve your kids in fun adventures? Keep reading to hear some suggestions for you!

Are you a parent trying to figure out ways to let your kids use up all their energy? Are you a grandparent attending your grandchildren and searching for activities that don’t involve them staring at a screen? Or are you a babysitter who has run out of ideas to entertain the children you are looking after? And most importantly, do you live in or close to The Hague? Then this is the article for you… You can read on to find three wonderful locations to take your little-humans along with you. You can easily reach all of them by bike. So hop on your electric cargo bike and head over to one (or several) of these places.
Canoeing in The Hague
The first suggestion is perfect if you and your kids are in the mood for something sporty: the Kanoverhuur Den Haag. There, you can all hop on a canoe and cruise through the city canals. This rental store is very centrally located, just outside Chinatown and can be reached with a BAQME in no time. Once you get there, you can choose among several routes. You could therefore, opt for 1-2h trip through the Oude Centrum or prepare yourselves for a 6h Zuiderpark paddle. And just for your information, it is possible to rent a canoe all year-round, granted that the weather is good!
Jump away at a trampoline park
If instead, you are in the mood for something fun and stimulating: ride your way to Planet Jump. This venue is a 15-minute ride from the Central Station with our electric cargo bikes! The beautiful thing about this place is that all children from 3 to 12 years are welcome. There they will find several indoor trampolines, giving them the chance to channel all that energy stored in them. And as an added plus, the location is very pretty and suggestive as it is a former church! Moreover, for the caretakers, there is a lounge area, where you can enjoy some snacks and drinks, while reading or chatting.
A brick world to discover
Our third option is for those of you who have children constantly looking for an adventure. And what could be a better location than the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre for this? This amusement centre is in Scheveningen, a 20min electric cargo bike ride away from the Central Station. There your kids will have a range of exciting activities to choose from. They can, for example, visit the LEGO MINILAND, an actual reconstruction of The Hague city made up of more than 1 million lego bricks. Or you can escort them to the 4D Cinema experience, the LEGO duplo park and many other attractions.
